Recent Things: Switched in the Night & Project Sneak Peeks

Helllloooooo lovelies! It's Friday again! We've had a crazzzyyyy busy week and have a busy weekend ahead, however, I wanted to take some time to share what we've been up to lately!

So here's what's been happening in our world! >>

Recent Throwbacks: Now that we've had Trixie for just a little over a year my Timehop has been filled with photos of her! I cannot believe our almost white dog used to be this teeny black and brown baby!

How does that even happen?! Did someone switch our dog in the night?!

Recent Love: You know you're an adult when..... you're obsessed with a garden hose. No seriously, our Hoselink retractable hose is the best thing ever. Now I don't get in trouble when I don't wind the hose back up :P

Recent Projects: I've been working on a couple of DIY Christmas Gift ideas over the last week and I'm hoping to finish them over the weekend so I can share them with you ASAP!

Recently Tried: Prawns (or shrimp if you so prefer). I never ate seafood as a kid and was warned against trying it when I was first diagnosed with coeliac disease (as I had so many other things going on the last thing they wanted me to do was find out I had yet another allergy) but I tried prawns for the first time last week.

I'm not really sure if I liked them or not... the texture wasn't what I was expecting (as they're firm but I thought they'd be more fish-like in texture). I liked them but didn't love them and then somehow I managed to feel really sick that night so we don't know if it was the prawns or something else!

Recently Posts: If you missed this week's post, you definitely need to go back and have a look! Check out what we got up to in Norfolk Island in our posts; Discovering the Norfolk Way of Eating and Our Unexpected Adventure and Favourite Norfolk Island Restaurants

Also, be sure to check out our Healthier Lightened Up Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe! They're gluten free, dairy free and have vegan and clean eating friendly options!

Recent Garden Goodness: Our garden has exploded in the last week or so! We've got corn growing as well as lots of cucumbers and zucchinis starting to pop up so we're hoping we'll soon have a bumper crop!

Recent Cuteness: I took some photos for a family last week and both Jesse and I fell in love with their gorgeous eight week old puppy! I mean, how can you resist that face?!?!?!!

But tell me, how has your week been?
And what do you have planned for the weekend?
