Recent Things: Chocolate Fixes, Broken Puzzles and the Nomato Obsession Continues

Hello loves! It's Friday again and this girl is so ready for the weekend! I'm looking forward to a weekend of doing a whole lot of nothing and perhaps catching a movie with Jesse, however, I've got a whole week to share with you first!

Here's what we've been up to recently! >>

Noshu Sugar Free Grain Free Paleo Donut

Recent Sneakiness: Scheduling meetings near Noshu stockists just so I can grab myself a donut :P I've been missing my Noshu fix and after a longgggggggg day I needed a pick-me-up!

Puzzle FailPuzzle Fail

Recent Fail: We were given a heap of secondhand puzzles and got stuck into doing the first one.... only to get halfway through the puzzle and find it was missing two pieces. FAIL!

The moment we realised Jesse was like "nope, I'm done" - and lost all of his puzzle mojo. We currently have another one on the go, however, he has no interest in working on it as he thinks it's probably missing pieces too :P

Well Naturally Sugar Free Chocolate Bars

Recent Deliciousness: Well Naturally Chocolate. The Milk Chocolate Peppermint Crisp is my all time fave - closely followed by Fruit and Nut. Cadbury used to make a mint crisp chocolate which I was obsessed with, however, they stopped making it and this is the only thing I've ever found that's actually even better :P

Better still? These babies are sugar free and sweetened with stevia!

Choices Gluten Free Hot Cross Buns

Recent Faves: Gluten Free Hot Cross Buns from Choices Gluten Free Bakery. These babies are gluten free, egg free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, corn free and soooooooooooooooooooooooooo delicious!

Sally Hansen 7 in 1 Nail Treatment

Recent Product Finds: This nail treatment from Sally Hansen. I rarely paint my nails as I'm always using my hands (thus always chipping nail polish!), however, I use this as a clear coat and it's awesome!

Nomato Sauce

Recent Deliciousness: A huge new batch of my delicious Nomato Sauce Recipe! This stuff never gets old and I am lovinggggggggggggggg making all the tomato-less dinners (as you'll see in a sec).

Bushwalk at Oatley Park

Recent Adventures: A lazy Saturday bushwalk with my husband! We are seriously so lucky to have this just at the bottom of our street!

Recent Eats: This weeks dinners have been deeeeeeeeeeeeeeelicious as always! Friday night was fakeout night and we decided we felt like Asian food so we had our Sticky Peanut Stir Fry Recipe with chicken and ALLL THE VEGGIES!

On Saturday night we had an easy, lazy dinner of salad with a ham and cheese millet bake I'd made earlier in the day. It was SO delicious and I've been eating it all week for lunch so I definitely need to share the recipe with you!

On Sunday night Jesse was sick with the flu so I cooked up another batch of Cream of Chicken Soup (and photographed it so I can share the recipe with you all soon!) which was deeeeeeeelicious! Funnily enough, the last time I made it I said it had no taste (because I was sick) and this time I was raving about how good it was, however, Jesse went from raving about it to not being able to taste it either :P

On Monday we had a simple but delicious dinner of Grilled Chicken Breast with Avocado Quinoa and ALL THE VEGGIES!

Tuesday was TACOOOOOOO TUESDAY, also known as Mexican Martes (Mexican Tuesday) in the SIL House, however, I didn't feel like tacos or quesadillas so I made taco pasta! It was seriously delicious... so much so that it might be my new Mexican Martes fave.

On Wednesday Night I tried something totally new - Cannelloni! These were made with Casalare's Gluten Free Cannelloni and they were amazing! Inside was a creamy cheese and salami mix which was then smothered with nomato sauce and cheese!

Last night we had what we jokingly called "No-poletana" Pasta. It was chicken napoletana (or marinara as they tend to call it in the US) made with our nomato sauce with lots of delicious fresh herbs and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. SOOOOOOOOOO good!
Recent Realisation: That a lot of you don't realise we have an email newsletter! I've added a banner to the blog where you can subscribe as many of you requested/suggested I do that (let me know if it's too annoying!), however, you can also sign up here

Unlike some other people, we don't bombard you with emails because;
a) I don't have time to do that!
b) I don't have time to read a million emails and I know you probably don't either!

All you'll get is one quick email a week letting you know what you might have missed on the blog during the week. Our newsletter subscribers also get sneak peeks of what's to come, inspiration/tips and tricks/whatever we feel like sharing that week so there's always something new to look at!

But tell me, how has your week been?
What's the best thing you've eaten this week?
and what's your favourite thing to do on a lazy weekend?
