Recent Things: Plastic Surgery and Small Dog Syndrome

Hellooo! Happy FriYAY! I am so glad the weekend is almost here because, not only is it a weekend, it's a long weekend! 🙌

This weekend has been crazy busy but everyone is finally feeling better so I'm looking forward to a sickness free weekend!

But before I can get to the weekend, I've got to catch you up on our week!
Here's what's been happening in our world this week! >>

Recently Buying: ALLL THE NEW STATIONERY!

I went to Officeworks on Saturday to pick up some things and came back with a heap of new stationery. I am a little bit obsessed with pretty notebooks because I use them 24/7 and these two had to come home with me (along with the rest). They're also FSC certified so they're a more sustainable choice too!

Emokeyrings Prayer Hands Key Ring

And this keyring came home with me too! They also had the cutest dancing girls emoji keychain that would be the perfect bestie gift!

Vet Visit with the Puppies

Recently Realising: Trixie has SERIOUS little dog syndrome. We took both dogs to the vet yesterday and someone decided she should growl at a poor lady and then go off at a little old dog.

Meanwhile, whilst she sounded so savage, she was totally terrified. Such a silly dog.

Pop Vinyl Jesse

Recently Making: A different kind of plastic surgery makeover 😛Pop Vinyl versions of us! You can do this on the Funko Website here.

Jesse was easy - but me? Not so much. That's supposed to be Trixie... that's the closest they had to any of our dogs, haha!

Best Christian Podcasts - Hope City

Recently Listening To: This sermon from Hope City! Jeremy talks about one of the things that bugs me the MOST about Christians/the Church as a whole and the whole podcast was so ridiculously good that I listened to it on my morning walk and then made Jesse watch the youtube video of that sermon that night because I knew he'd love it too.

Hope City's podcasts are always SO good... and so funny because Jeremy Foster is one funny/likeable guy!

Stuff Happens Board Game Shit Happens Card Game

Recently Finding: That there's a more PG version of one of our favourite board games, Shit Happens! Stuff Happens seems like it would be perfect for playing with a younger/not so messed up crowd and I think I'm going to have to get it to add to our collection.

I realised the other day that when we have kids, we're going to have to find a way to really separate our adult board games from our regular board games because there are some seriously messed up games in our collection... You'll see what I mean if you browse through our Ultimate Board Game Guide or Ultimate Adult Board Game Guide

Recently Reading: ALLL THE BOOKS! My top faves lately? A Good Enough Mother (a psychological thriller that's not too thrilling/scary but will hook you in!) and The Gift of Life (which was SO good and about a woman who has a heart transplant and then unexpectedly meets the wife of her donor and discovers there's a big secret that they need to uncover).

Recently Posting: The BEST Gluten Free Cornbread Recipe... and I'm not just saying that. It's seriously so soft, fluffy and stupidly ridiculously delicious!

But tell me,
How has your week been?
What's the last thing you bought?
And what's one thing you've realised this week?
I also realised this week that house prices in Hawaii are pretty much on-par with Sydney... why? Because I was totally looking at Hawaiian real estate the other night when I was FREEZING cold and moping that we're not on vacation, haha.
