Southern In Law: Recent Things: Getting Kurios

Hellooooo! Happy happy Friday! This is an extra happy Friday because it's a long weekend in NSW so we've got three days of weekend ahead of us.

I so need a weekend, because this week I've realised just how un-relaxing the weeks before a vacation are. I've pretty much been running around like a headless chook, trying to fit every little bit of work in and trying to make everyone happy 😛But despite the craziness, this week has also been really fun!

Recently Watching: We were lucky enough to be invited to the opening night of Cirque du Soleil's Kurios. Talk about an incredible show! I don't think we've ever seen a Cirque show we didn't love, but Kurios was amazing. The acts, the costumes, the set - all SO brilliant.

If you've been thinking about seeing a Cirque show, DO IT! It's a special kind of magic and a night you won't forget anytime soon.

Recently Excited: That we only have ONE MONTH til Disneyland!!!!

We are beyond excited and can not wait to be back.

This weekend we're planning to finish the last of our custom t-shirts for our 10 days in Disneyland and I cannot wait to show you what we've made. All of the designs are so fun!

Recently Enjoying: An afternoon with friends and family at the pub.

Not where I'd usually spend my Sunday afternoon, but we were celebrating a family friend's 60th birthday and it was the perfect day for it. Also, check out that view - and those blue skies!

Spring has kind of woken up for this 5 second... until it goes cold again tomorrow...

Recently Making: ALLLL the custom t-shirts! This one I made for my Uncle along with three other designs. Layering HTV has become our new obsession.

Recently Making: A dice bag for Jesse too! He went to DND on Friday and I hadn't made him a new shirt, so I decided he still needed something new and make him a dice bag instead 😛

Recently Laughing At: Chanel squishing her entire body onto a tiny face washer because she has a towel obsession. Girl will find any scrap of material on the floor - be it a towel, a t-shirt, a tea towel, whatever she can find - and will curl up on it. She has a million beds, but apparently towels are better.

Also, she is not actually that chunky - that's her with everything squished to fit on that towel 😂

Recently Reading: Still not as much as usual - but more than I have been! I read The Last Voyage of Mrs Henry Parker and enjoyed it (though not as much as Joanna's previous book The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village and I just finished Rules for Vanishing which was SO good - and so creepy.
