I am someone who loves giving gifts to others... but I am very particular when it comes to gift giving. 

I don't like to give just one thing. Sure, there are some singular gifts that are wonderful - but I feel like a collection of small gifts chosen to suit that person is so much more thoughtful... and that's why I thought I'd hunt for some bargains and put together four simple and budget friendly Gift Basket Ideas for Mother's Day!

Luckily, TK Maxx just arrived in Australia - and they asked me if I'd like to head out on a bargain hunting adventure..... um........ 

Is there any other answer than yes?!?! 

Seeing as TJ Maxx and Marshalls are my favourite US stores (all part of the same group as TK Maxx), I knew I would be able to find a huge range of gift ideas for Mother's Day - and I knew I'd be able to find them on a budget too!

They offer big brands at small prices and have everything from homewares and fashion to beauty, lingerie, sleepwear, activewear, accessories, luggage and footwear. 

Before picking up my gifts, I did a quick scan of the store. Can we take a second to appreciate the COLOUR CODED bath and body section?! Best of all, most of the products here were under $10 - with a lot of them under $5 - making them the perfect gift basket addition.

From there I found some Mother's Day specials - including these soft and fluffy robes, cute shoes and gorgeous Italian leather handbags.

The best thing about TK Maxx is that their stock is constantly changing. Stores get several deliveries each week and the stock is constantly changing so every time you walk into a store, you're almost guaranteed to find something you'll love.

And, if you're anything like me, you'll probably walk into the homewares/kitchenware section and find yourself wanting to take home ALL THE THINGS. 

This, my friends, if why they have huge baskets... and trolleys... but I'd suggest bringing a friend because you'll probably need two trolleys 😜

My Styling Tip: Try sticking to a colour theme or pattern to really wow your Mum or gift recipient. I went for pastel pink but you can change it to suit their kitchen, favourite colour or whatever you decide on.
