Hello there! Can you believe it's October already? I was turning my calendar over yesterday and it suddenly dawned on me that we only have three months left of the year.
Ummm... wasn't it April and we were in lockdown like yesterday?
Whilst I'm sure so many of us can not wait for 2020 to be over, I can't believe how this year has simultaneously felt like a millenia and a month.
But let me catch you up on this week! >>
Recently Reading: Not a lot, to be honest...
I started the month SO strong, reading a stack of books... but then I read a bunch of books I didn't like in a row, we bought a house and my life became a series of papers that needed signing, appointments, time spent on hold organising insurance and blah blah blah.
Sooooo, I've had The Suicide House by Charlie Donlea sitting half finished on my bedside table for at least 3 weeks.
Maybe I'll finish it by the end of this month 😜Buttt, that said, this month should be more relaxed as we're just waiting for settlement.
Recently Planning: Furniture. Jesse thinks I'm crazy and should wait until we move in, but I'd like to watch TV on something other than our bed sooooooooo.
It will be a step by step process because there's some thing we want to change, but being an interior design loving gal, I'm excited to get in their and play with things.
Also, if you have a really nice light grey wall colour, let me know because that's what I'm going for! I saw someone's house who had Grey Reflection 1/2 and I think that may be the winner.
We currently have Tranquil Retreat in our kitchen and I think it's quarter strength... but it looks more like a pale blue than a grey and I'm not a fan.
Recently Disappointed: Because I saw this giant Mickey Halloween Ooshie on Facebook and thought it was adorable... but it's not really so "giant" and is only 4" tall.... also apparently people are nuts and buying these in bulk and selling them for $150+.... and they're $10 in store.
People need to chillllllllll.
