We've got just over 12 weeks to go (possibly 12 weeks on the dot!) until our sweet boy arrives and we're trying to tick off all our home to-do's before he's here.

If you're in lockdown like us at the moment, you probably woke up wondering what day it was (both Jesse and I thought it was Saturday... such a bummer 😅) - but it is indeed Friday!

Whilst we are in lockdown, I have a fair bit to catch you up on so I thought I'd quickly put together a post before I go and have a COVID test (a new necessity to go to my obstetrician appointments!). Oh pandemic life, how I loathe thee!

Why hello there! Happy Friday that kind of feels like every other day because we're still in lockdown in Sydney 😜

I've missed a few Recent Things post because we haven't really been doing much of anything. Both Jesse and I have been working from home, avoiding people and maybe getting to the grocery store once a week and that's it. 

In our spare time we've just been hanging out, baking, watching TV, feeling this wiggly little human inside me kick about (so fun!) and trying to get whatever reno bits and pieces we can without having to make a trip to Bunnings.

I'm not really sure how it's Friday already (this week has been crazy!) but I am SO glad it is because I am ready for the weekend.... and it also means that we're SO CLOSE to our kitchen being ripped out because it's now being ripped out NEXT WEEK! 😳

Soooo, our weekend will see us packing our kitchen and moving everything upstairs for a while!

Hi, my name is Kristy and I'm just wiping February off the calendar because I have been terrible with keeping up with blog posts this month.

I have been insanely busy with so many new clients and work projects (and feeling so grateful for said clients!) whilst also navigating kitchen renovations changing, a sick husband, busy weekends and even finding termite damage in our house... SOOOOOO, there's that.

Life has been a little crazy lately. My days have been a juggle of managing contractor appointments, looking at kitchen appliances and finishes and also managing work and meetings and new clients and trying to be a decent wife/daughter/sister/friend too.

I feel like I get maybe 3 seconds to myself at the moment - but it will all be worth it!

We're trying to get things planned for our kitchen renos... and contemplating robbing a bank now that all the quotes are coming in 😅

My house seems to be a revolving door of tradespeople and I am officially somewhat tanned after spending so much time in the garden 😅

Recent Things: From a New Address!

Hello there, from a new address! 

We are now all moved into our new house and it has been a week... as well as a week in time. The big move in day was last Friday and we've been cleaning and unpacking ever since.

Jesse went back to work on Monday and by the time he went back to work on Tuesday, we had almost the entire house unpacked and cleaned from top to bottom. The only things we have left to unpack are our books and board games - but only because we need to fix those to the walls before filling them.
