I love cooking all the time, but especially at Christmas.

I don't know what it is about them, but Christmas treats are just so much more fun. Maybe it's the flavours, or the colours, the sharing with loved ones - or simply the fact that they tend to use more chocolate (🍫 = 💗) , but each December you'll find me in the kitchen coming up with new Christmas creations to share with family and friends.

This year's recipe addition? Christmas Crack.

Now, Jesse did tell me I couldn't call this Christmas Crack on the blog... buttttt the name stuck and this snack mix is seriously addictive, so we're going to roll with the name.

This snack mix combines crunchy cereal (I used Gluten Free Chex Cereal for the pictured version, but we've also made it with Gluten Free Cornflakes and it is 🥰), pretzels, melted chocolate, candy canes, m&ms or whatever mix-ins your choose.

In the recipe below, I've given you all sorts of options to make your ultimate snack mix - and to suit the ingredients you probably already have at home.

Don't like peppermint? Swap the candy canes for chewy marshmallows or stir in a spoonful of peanut butter. Don't have gluten free m&m's? Replace them with chocolate chips.

If you're worried you might not have the pictured ingredients - don't be! I've got you covered!

So let me share the recipe with you!
