Getting in extra protein has never been so delicious! These Collagen Cookie Dough Protein Balls are gluten free, no bake, refined sugar free, clean eating friendly and seriously delicious! The perfect healthy snack or dessert.

With only a week until our babe arrives, I have been prepping all the meals and snacks so that when we get home from the hospital, we have plenty of food ready to eat.

One of those things I've been prepping has been protein balls.

Call them bliss balls or protein balls or whatever you fancy, they're one of my go-to snacks because they're quick, easy and you can pack them full of nutrients.

When Naked Nutrition sent me their Collagen Peptides Protein Powder, I knew exactly what I needed to make.

These Collagen Cookie Dough Protein Balls are so easy to make, seriously delicious to eat and each little bite has 4 grams of protein to power you through your day.

Better still? You can totally make them your own.

Swap the cashews for almonds or peanuts. Swap the flaxseed for chia seed or hemp seeds. Swap chocolate chips for cacao nibs or bits of your favourite candy bar - there's so much you can do with them!

Recipe: No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Slice

No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Slice Recipe - gluten free, vegan, no bake dessert recipe

A creamy chocolate and peanut butter filling meets crunchy golden oats in this easy No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Slice Recipe. Gluten free, vegan, egg free and no oven needed!

So, a few days after we moved into our house, I baked a quiche and found that our oven temperature was way, way off.

I opened the oven door and it felt like opening the door to hell. What was supposed to be 180C/355F almost singed my eyebrows off as heat blasted from the oven and within seconds, the baking paper surrounding the quiche was burnt too.

I knew it wasn't 180C, so the next day I went off to buy an oven thermometer and my suspicions were confirmed.... 180C was actually 240C.... and whilst the dial goes much much higher, I haven't even been game to try 😅

So what do you do when your oven thermostat has a mind of it's own? You experiment.

With a bag of Gloriously Free Uncontaminated Oats in the pantry and a big block of chocolate, I decided I wanted to make a no bake slice... and ohhhh am I glad I did.

Recipe: Easy White Christmas Slice (Gluten Free!)

Easy White Christmas Slice Recipe - gluten free, quick, christmas recipe, no bake recipe

A traditional Australian favourite, this Easy White Christmas Slice Recipe is gluten free, egg free and so delicious. Puffed rice cereal, white chocolate, coconut, cream, pistachios, cranberries and raisins combine for a delicious no bake dessert recipe!

Up until last year, I'd never actually eaten White Christmas.

Was it available? Yes! But for some reason, I was convinced it was disgusting. Possibly because my parents weren't fans - or maybe I'd heard someone say it was gross - but I had it stuck in my head that it was gross.... until I tried making it myself.

Now? I feel like I've missed out on 20 something years of deliciousness!

Easy White Christmas Slice Recipe - gluten free, quick, christmas recipe, no bake recipe

This White Christmas Slice Recipe is anything but disgusting.

Recipe: Easy Gluten Free Halloween Chocolate Spiders

Easy Gluten Free Halloween Chocolate Spiders Recipe - Quick and Easy Halloween Dessert Ideas, gluten free treats, peanut butter,

I love a good theme.

Growing up, my birthday parties always had a theme. From a USA Party (I'm not quite sure what this shows considering I ended up marrying an American... but we were a few weeks away from a trip to the US so I think I was just uber excited), to a Pirate Themed 16th Birthday (you're never too old for a theme - especially when it means you can wear epic costumes) to Disney parties, disco parties and just about every other theme you could think of.

Soooo, whilst we don't really do much for Halloween - I can never pass up a good theme, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get into the kitchen and create some Gluten Free Halloween Recipes!

These spiders may just be the easiest Halloween recipe you'll come across. They take just minutes to make, only need one bowl and there's no baking or complicated steps involved.

Easy Gluten Free Halloween Chocolate Spiders Recipe - Quick and Easy Halloween Dessert Ideas, gluten free treats, peanut butter,

You could be like Jesse who tells me that spiders need legs, but with a little bit of imagination, these spooky Halloween spiders come to life with little eyes (or if there's no imagination, call them Halloween monsters and add a few eyes instead).

Even better? They're ridiculously delicious and there's nothing scary about the ingredients used.

They're gluten free, have a vegan option and can be nut free so everyone can enjoy them!

Where you find yourself dreaming of your next vacation whilst your suitcase sits still half-full because you haven't found the energy to empty it? And where you feel like you're constantly bored because you've gone from doing so many fun things to not much at all?

Yep, that's exactly how we're feeling..

Recipe: Healthy Vegan Cookie Dough Fudge (Paleo too!)

Easy No Bake Vegan Cookie Dough Fudge Recipe – healthy, gluten free, paleo, sugar free, clean eating recipe

When I was a kid, I was really weird... (actually, let's be honest, I'm still weird now... but imagine even weirder than I am now).

Why?

Because I didn't like cake.. or cookies.

I didn't really like much of anything, to be honest, but I would happily eat cookie dough and cake batter.

Easy No Bake Vegan Cookie Dough Fudge Recipe – healthy, gluten free, paleo, sugar free, clean eating recipe

As I got older, I realised that the baked versions are actually really delicious and the thought of eating raw eggs kind of skeeved me out... but the lure of the cookie dough was still there - and thus a multitude of "cookie dough" recipes were born.

The latest one we've been calling Cookie Dough Fudge - because we really don't know what to call it otherwise.

Basically it tastes like you've taken a bowl of decadent cookie dough, shaped it into a rectangle and cut it into pieces - only it's secretly healthy, paleo, vegan AND gluten free.

There's no flour, no refined sugars, no butter - just real whole food ingredients that create this magical cookie dough treat.

Recipe: 4 Ingredient No Bake Lemon Cheesecake Bites

4 Ingredient No Bake Lemon Cheesecake Balls Recipe - gluten free, grain free, healthy, refined sugar free, nut free, clean eating dessert recipes

Soooooooo, it hasn't really felt like winter in Australia lately.

Sure, the evenings are chilly? But the days? Beautiful blue skies, warm sunshine and Spring flowers blooming certainly don't scream winter to me...

But don't think I'm complaining!

You see, whilst my birthday is in winter, I am definitely a summer girl. I live for hot sunshine filled days, cut off denim shorts, t-shirts and nights hanging out with friends never having to worry about a cardigan. In winter, I'm usually a hermit - trying to keep as warm as possible and avoiding the outside world.

But this winter? Not so much! In fact, I've swapped warm winter desserts for cool summery desserts - and today I wanted to share one of my current faves!

4 Ingredient No Bake Lemon Cheesecake Balls Recipe - gluten free, grain free, healthy, refined sugar free, nut free, clean eating dessert recipes

These No Bake Cheesecake Bites are a delicious treat year round. They're made in minutes and secretly so much healthier than your average cheesecake.

Using just four ingredients, they are the perfect treat to make on a whim.

Recipe: 4 Ingredient Lemon Cashew Energy Balls

Raw Vegan Lemon Cashew Energy Balls Recipe - paleo bliss balls, energy bites, protein balls, healthy, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, peanut free

If you are what you eat, I'm probably veeeeerrry round and ball shaped.... because I totally have a bliss ball/energy ball obsession.

If you open our fridge at any given time, you'll see at least one container filled with bliss balls, ready to devour.

On the top shelf of our freezer? More bliss balls, for those very rare occasions where we run out of ones in the fridge... or when I desperately want a specific flavour but need to rush out the door.

OBSESSED, I tell you... but when they taste this good, how can you resist?!

Raw Vegan Lemon Cashew Energy Balls Recipe - paleo bliss balls, energy bites, protein balls, healthy, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, peanut free. coconut free

These Paleo Lemon Cashew Energy Balls are seriousssllyyyy delicious and so easy to make.

All you'll need to make them? Just 4 ingredients; a fresh lemon, dates, cashews and a little bit of coconut flour (though I've also included a coconut free option below for those who don't like/can't have coconut, making this a three ingredient recipe!).

A few minutes in the food processor, a little bit of rolling and you'll have a whole container of delicious bliss balls to eat however you choose. We have them at almost every hour of the day. As a mid morning snack, lunch dessert, afternoon tea, dessert - there's never really a wrong time to eat them.

They're sweet, full of flavour and no one will ever know they're so healthy!

Recipe: Raw Double Chocolate Energy Balls (Paleo & Vegan!)

Healthy Double Chocolate Raw Bites Recipe - Healthy, Raw, Vegan, Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Egg Free, Dairy Free Bliss Balls, Paleo, Grain Free, Peanut Free

Life has been a little bit crazy lately. I constantly have 10 million things to do and my to do list keeps getting longer and longer.

If I didn't have a holiday planned in 50 days, I'd probably need to check myself into the funny farm because I don't know how much longer my brain can cope.

But when life gets crazy like this, I've learnt that you always need to give yourself a little grace - and often times that means scrapping things from your to do list that you'd normally do. For me, that's scrapping elaborate recipes and sticking to the quick and easy one.

Why? Because I just don't have the time to spend hours in the kitchen or watching something bake away in the oven.

Enter these Raw Double Chocolate Bites. They're super quick to make and the perfect snack for those extra busy days. I've been making them at night (usually multitasking whilst pasta/rice/baked veggies are cooking away) and keeping them in a container in the fridge to grab on my way out to meetings or when I need something sweet (because let's be real, my busy brain is like caffeine, chocolate... NOW).

It's one of those recipe that you'll make again and again and never get tired of. Why? Because... well... does anyone ever get tired of chocolate?

So let me share the recipe with you >>

Recipe: Raw Vegan Cinnamon Donut Bliss Balls (Paleo too!)

Raw Vegan Cinnamon Donut Bliss Balls Recipe - paleo raw balls, energy balls, protein balls, healthy, gluten free, grain free, sugar free

I want to start off by clarifying something; these bites are not donuts. They're not crumbled up bits of donuts smooshed together, they're not made with flour and they're not going to taste like a fried donut because they're not fried and not made with any of those ingredients.

But when I made this recipe for the first time? This is what was said; "Wow. These taste like donuts".

So the name stuck.... because it's so much easier to say than listing all of the ingredients and adding balls at the end. But I digress!

Raw Vegan Cinnamon Donut Bliss Balls Recipe - paleo raw balls, energy balls, protein balls, healthy, gluten free, grain free, sugar free

I didn't come here to give you a lecture on the naming of these bites. What I came here to tell you is that YOU NEED TO MAKE THESE ASAP. Because they're delicious and so easy to make and filled with nutrients too........ sooooooo you can't really go wrong.

Call them whatever you like, but do yourself a favour and make them. It's one of the latest additions to our bliss ball rotation (as we always have two jars or containers of bliss balls in the fridge for snacks/dessert) and we can't get enough!

So let me share the recipe with you! >>

Recipe: Raw Chai Bliss Balls (Vegan & Paleo!)

Paleo Chai Raw Balls Recipe - raw bites, vegan, paleo, grain free, gluten free, sugar free, healthy snack, clean eating recipe, energy bites, bliss balls

I am one of those person who needs to snack.

Three square meals a day? Yeaaaaaaah, that's not going to work for me. Smaller meals and regular snacks? Now we're talking.

It's not uncommon to hear someone say "Oh Kristy, you're eating again" because I seem to always be eating - but I've always been that way...

But when snacks are this good how can you really blame me?

Paleo Chai Raw Balls Recipe - raw bites, vegan, paleo, grain free, gluten free, sugar free, healthy snack, clean eating recipe, energy bites, bliss balls

These Chai Spiced Bliss Balls are one of my current favourite snacks. They are super easy to make and seriously delicious to eat - and  also easy to customise so you can use whatever ingredients you have in your pantry!

Whenever I head out for the day, usually a little container of these comes with me - ready for whenever I feel like a snack.

They're waste free (unlike store bought bliss balls and all of their plastic wrappers/packaging), cheaper to make and so much more delicious because you can add as much or as little spice as you like.

So let me share the recipe with you! >>
